Impact & Achievements

The accomplishments highlighted below represent just a small sample of what students across our robotics community have achieved.

What makes these achievements even more remarkable is that they were earned while teams worked from garages, classrooms, hallways, basements, dining room tables, and other temporary spaces—often without access to dedicated robotics facilities, full-size practice fields, or the infrastructure needed to fully support their growth.

These students have already demonstrated what is possible through talent, determination, teamwork, and innovation. Imagine what they could accomplish with access to dedicated practice fields, build space, technology resources, and a permanent home designed to support robotics education year-round.

The Southeast Michigan Robotics & Innovation Center will provide that opportunity—helping more students develop the skills, confidence, and experiences that prepare them for future careers while expanding access to robotics throughout Detroit, Grosse Pointe, and Southeast Michigan.
